small logo.pngIf your family is transitioning to a new structure because of divorce, separation, remarriage or relocation, you must decide how you want to make these changes.

You can choose to transition through divorce or separation in a peaceful way that minimizes conflict.  Traditional divorce is often expensive, time consuming and emotionally stressful.  This no longer has to be the case.  O’Day Resolutions offers several options to help you through the process of divorce without the pain and expense of traditional litigation.

You can consider:

Collaborative Representation.

Wouldn’t you like to hire an attorney who is solely motivated to help you resolve your case and avoid court?  Wouldn’t you like to know that your attorney is putting your desires and the needs of your children above any financial incentive to increase conflict?  Wouldn’t your divorce be easier if you knew that each side wasn’t going to hire their own financial experts and psychologists to argue in court over how to divide up your assets or the time you have with your children?  The way to accomplish all of these goals is to consider a Collaborative Divorce.

In a collaborative divorce, both sides are represented by an attorney specially trained in collaborative law and conflict resolution.  The parties select their own collaborative attorney.  The attorneys and the parties then select a neutral financial professional and a neutral mental health professional to help the team as needed.  All members of the team then sign a Participation Agreement that requires them to work with the parties to resolve the conflict without any litigation.
